She doesn't love me anymore...

Since I have returned back to work Diva has been having "mommy issues" (her words...not mine). I don't get off work until 9pm and around when it starts getting dark that is when Diva starts asking for me. When she used to have a "I need mommy" day, hubby was able to bring her by my work so she could see me but now I'm locked up and I really wouldn't want her around this nasty place anyways. So, around 7pm Diva wanting mommy turns into "anti mommy" time until I arrive home and she meets me at the door with a great big hug. She is such a roller coaster of emotions about me going back to work...I feel so bad for her.

After hearing about Diva's after school conversation with hubby yesterday I just don't know if I should laugh or cry.

Diva-Daddy...mommy needs to move out.
Hubby-Why do you say that? Where would she live?
Diva- I don't know. We just need to lock the door so she can't get in.
Hubby- Your mommy loves you. She works so she can pay the bills and buy us nice things.
Diva- She can still give us dollars. She can put them in the bank and we can go get dollars out.

I'm really feeling the love!

:-( I am sorry. You know she doesn't really mean it, she just really misses you.

I know that doesn't make you feel much better.

Oh I am so sorry. I know that had to just break your heart.

I think she must miss you a lot. Sometimes it is easier for kids to feel/express anger than sadness. I hope that makes sense.

When Mr. Lipstick is gone a lot for school, Pretty Girl will start to be really mean to him...won't hug him, just ignores him, etc. He has been on winter break and and she has been her normal affectionate self.

Still...I am so very sorry. Hugs.
