Last night Diva was in the bathroom and I could hear her talking from our room. I went in to see what was going on and asked who she was talking to. Diva announced she was talking to Apollo and Casanova (her dog and cat who passed away last year). She pointed to the window and I could see two stars in the night sky. "See mommy, Casa and Apollo want to talk to me".
The background to this story is Diva had a really hard time with the loss of her dog and cat so close together and so suddenly. Then one day I came up with a great idea! I brought Diva outside after the sun had set and pointed to two stars that were close together in the night sky. I explained to her that those stars werer Apollo and Casa and that was their new home, but that they would always be in the sky and with her. She hasn't cried since and always say's hi to them anytime we are outside.

Lake Tahoe
Living so close to something so beautiful, you would think we would be up there every weekend. Diva loved being at the Lake! She is her father's child, loves the cold. I wouldn't last a minute in the lake water there. Give me the beaches on the Caribbean or Hawaii any day over a cold lake. Of course, nothing compares to the beauty of Lake Tahoe.
While hubby and my parents were gambling, Diva and I went to the arcade and played games and she had a blast! Diva was a bit disappointed that we didn't have any chocolates waiting for us on our beds at the hotel (she's been on one too many cruises in her short life).

What I need...
I just saw this at fellow OSB Karla's blog http://zanderandme.blogspot.com/ and just had to try it. I googled Naomi + needs and found out I am one needy bitch!
Naomi needs a valium (you said it sista!)
Naomi needs anger management (no shit!)
Naomi needs a divorce (umm...not quite yet)
Naomi needs to shut her pie hole (probably)
and the most unusual one...
Naomi needs a medivac (hmmm...)

REALLY!?!
How could so much puke come out of something so small? Poor baby, said she had a headache last night and as soon as I picked her up to give her a hug the vile started spewing from her. All over the place! I have never had the smell bother me until last night, OMG! But of course, the next morning she is acting like last night never happened.

I want to be a Skinny bitch!
Ugh...to be thin again! I remember not so long ago being the skinny friend. Never had a problem losing weight or maintaining my weight. Then the Diva came into my life along with Hubby and I am blaming both of them for ruining my hottie body! Ok, so the only person I can truely blame is myself. As of this week I have started a change. Eating a little better(can't jump right into that one, gotta have me some Dr), starting the C25K thanks to the lovely Sasha at http://www.sashasays.com/, and I have joined http://operationskinnybitch.blogspot.com/ (I found them from lurking over at my other favorite blog, Holly's http://multislackingmama.blogspot.com/). They say it takes 30 days to make a habit, or atleast that is what I'm saying, so here is to the next 30 days! Now where did I put that damn Dr. Pepper...
Silence is golden
The other night I noticed Diva (I'm still working on giving her a name for the blog) was not talkng to me and mopping around the house. I tried to talk to her, but she just ignored me. Instead of getting mad, I just enjoyed the silence. Finally Hubby and my mom tried getting it out of her. All she would say was "I am not speaking to mom", "I just need time away from her"(um your 3 years old!), and "Mommy's mean". What the hell did I do to the Diva! Come to find out, earlier that night she was being a monkey and as she was leaving the room I said "and that's why you're going to be an only child". She was upset, because she want's a sibling. I had to promise her a brother or sister (brother perferably for some reason). Crap, hopefully I can pay her off with a doll!
