Busy weekend...

We are so exhausted after the weekend we have had. Yesterday, we went to a Birthday party for my BFF's sons first Birthday. Diva had a blast with her girlfriends running on the slip and slide over and over again. She's such a sweetie, she even played with the Birthday boy in his ball pit. Unfortunately, she told everyone that she was getting a baby brother. She's not...at least not any time soon.
Then last night I had an expensive craving and knew Hubby wouldn't be able to deny me my request for dinner. He jumped at the chance to go to Benihana's, which we usually save for special occasions. After last night, eating out is on hold, but it was so worth it!
Today we went to a baby shower for hubby's brother and his girlfriend. That is a story to be saved for another time my friends. It was a boy/girl baby shower and we had fun, but it also brings me to my PSA of the day. If you are having a baby shower that starts at 1pm and it is already 4pm, you have not opened the presents AND have not cut the cake, DO NOT MAKE YOUR GUESTS PLAY BABY SHOWER GAMES!!! Just skip them, obviously the party has gone over it's allotted time. We didn't get out of there until almost 6pm and still had to drive Hubby's mother to her house. It was a very nice party and they received great gifts.
So we are all a little loony around here tonight from exhaustion. As I was checking my emails just a few minutes ago, this is what walked into our room...
