So, I am spending my Saturday evening watching Steel Magnolias for the 1,435,853th time. I love this movie for the great characters and great quotes.
Truvy: Time marches on and sooner or later you realize it is marchin' across your face.

Hope you feel better! I get a lot of sinus infections too and did while I was pregnant. So sorry you're feeling bad.

Most weekends, you have to watch it because it's on tv, ha. It is one of my favorites too, afterall it was filmed in my "home state"!
One of my favorite lines is "I would rather have 5 minutes of wonderful than a lifetime of nothin' special."
Once upon a time, 100 years ago, I was in a drama competition. My partner and I did a scene from Steel Magnolias. We won first place. My partner could cry on cue, and that helped us out considerably!
I have never seen this movie or read the book(runs and ducks for cover).
